SUBSIDY FOR SMES UP TO 45% TO INVEST IN CYBERSECURITY
Annually, the damage caused by cybercriminals amounts to between 3.7 and 4.5 billion euros, and the risk is significant, with 50% to 71% of Belgian companies already having fallen victim to cybercriminals. Therefore, the Flemish government provides financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to arm themselves against attacks such as extortion or ransomware, espionage, cyber fraud, and much more. This gives the company a substantial boost in return on investment.
VARIOUS CYBERSECURITY IMPROVEMENT TRAJECTORIES
Do you want to sustainably improve your company's cybersecurity or gain more control over your company's vulnerabilities? Do you not yet have a strategy to enhance your company's cybersecurity? Then a cybersecurity improvement trajectory is for you! We are part of Cronos and therefore a service provider selected by VLAIO. We support SMEs and social enterprises in sustainably strengthening their cybersecurity. Based on a thorough analysis, we pragmatically develop a tailored implementation plan that focuses on necessary measures to increase the cybersecurity maturity of your SME.
During an initial consultation, we determine whether your company qualifies for the services offered through the framework contract. If this is the case, we will create a proposal in line with your company's needs. In this phase, besides the cost and payment terms, the following aspects are clarified:
- the different steps of the trajectory (deliverables)
- the intended result
- the tools and methodologies to be used
- the anticipated time investment
- what is expected from your company during the trajectory
After your approval of this proposal and VLAIO’s, we can start the cybersecurity trajectory.
Does your company not qualify for these services? No problem, we are happy to assist you with more suitable advisory and guidance initiatives.
For whom?
- Light Package: For SMEs and social enterprises taking their first steps in cybersecurity and/or SMEs with a less complex IT/OT environment.
- Standard Package: For SMEs and social enterprises with a business-critical amount of IT architecture, software, or connected IoT systems.
For what purpose?
To purchase advice and guidance to strengthen your company's cybersecurity. We work with you on a thorough (technical) analysis, the creation of an action plan, and the resolution of priority security issues.
WHAT FINANCIAL SUPPORT CAN YOU RECEIVE?
The scope of the guidance trajectories is determined based on the identified needs of the company. After an initial consultation, we will create a proposal. A trajectory has a total cost between €15,000 and €30,000 (excluding VAT).

BASE PACKAGE PRICES
- Light Version: Between €15,000 and €20,000 (excluding VAT) for the light version of the base package
- Complete Base Package: Between €25,000 and €30,000 (excluding VAT) for the complete base package.
VLAIO SUPPORT
VLAIO covers up to 45% of the cost (including VAT) and pays this share directly to us. The remaining amount must be paid by your company.
